Makuna Açaí Bowl

I’ve been craving açaí bowls for the past month and have been wanting to check out all the places that make açaí in town. It was 7:50pm on a Friday night and I walked up to the stand with a young girl on her phone. She didn’t even look up to greet or acknowledge that we were there, which ok I just let it pass. Then I stood right her front of her at the register with her head down still on her phone. I finally said hi are yall open and can I place an order? And she replied well we are about to close, but ok I’ll take your order. (Around the time I was leaving the mall I walked passed& she didn’t start closing up til 8:33pm & online says they close at 9:00). There was another customer with her 2 kids and she didn’t acknowledge them either letting them know I’ll be right with you or hi we are closed. They ended up leaving. It was very apparent that the young girl didn’t want to be there, moving slow and as if everything was a hassle. She was not organized or prepared to take orders. She had to open a new case of gloves and started to organize the menu signs before making my bowl. I finally get my bowl: the açaí base was really good and the toppings were fresh. I’m all for trying new

I had an amazing experience here! The açaí bowl was incredibly fresh, perfectly blended(no lumps), and packed with flavor. The toppings were generous and high-quality everything from the fruit to the granola tasted fresh and well-prepared. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and quick with service. You can really tell they care about both quality and customer experience. Definitely the best açaí spot I’ve tried. I’ll be coming back regularly! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a refreshing, healthy treat.

Best Acai bowl in USA! Worth while the detour in our roadtrip. We tried the spirulina as well and we have to come back to have an entire bowl of it. Friendliest staff explaining about Makuna tribe & some history!! Wish i could give 6 stars!!

The açaí here is great for a refreshing treat when in the mall. The fruit tasted fresh, the açaí wasn’t too watery like some others I’ve had and the bowl was made with care. The only negative was that the service was slightly slow, but she made the bowl beautifully & took her time doing so. I will definitely return, just be mindful that you may be waiting if you’re in a hurry.

I love this acai bowl shop that serves authentic acai!🫐🍓🍌 You can find Makuna in Cordova Mall! Atmosphere: The shop is located in the area between Pandora and Victoria’s Secret. Now you can get this delicious treat while you’re shopping. Service: The owners here are so kind! They are from Brazil and provide authentic acai to our area with fresh fruit. Menu items: I got the acai base with bananas, blueberries, granola, and peanut butter as my toppings. This is one of my favorite places to get an acai bowl in the area—in my top 3!
